Afterschool Writing Workshop

By kamichijackson

In Ashburn author Kamichi Jackson's latest release, a teen novel entitled K My Name Is Kendra, the title character is assigned to afterschool writing sessions as a way to help her cope with the drama that has taken place in her life in recent months. Inspired by the storyline as she penned it, the author has created ScribbleSesh--her own real-life afterschool creative writing program--and is currently pitching it to local middle and high schools in Loudoun and Fairfax counties.

The author hopes to take what the aspiring young writers are learning in the classroom during school hours to the next level, guiding them towards publication in traditional and independent markets.

To bring ScribbleSesh to your school, please call (540) 848-4805. The author is also available to make a visit to your Creative Writing class during school hours.

K My Name Is Kendra is available online exclusively at http://stores.lulu.com/kamichijackson.
