Fix a Dent Scam !!

There is a guy driving an older model white Mercedes station wagon. His plate number is XNA4170. He approaches shoppers at various parking lots in Sterling and Dulles Town center area. I have seen this guy at the Costco parking lot, Cascades shopping area, and at the Dulles Eastern Plaza where the Nordstrom Rack and Best Buy are located.
He claims he will fix any dents on your car for a very cheap price. He then will cover up the dent with a gray putty looking material and then pretend to fix the damage on your car. He will then tell you to wash off the putty after 24 hours. Once you wash off the putty you will notice that your dent is still there and that you have just been scammed out of some cash. He got me for 50 bucks.
I keep seeing this guy on a daily basis at the location I mentioned above. I have contacted the Loundon County’s Sheriff Office numerous times to report this scam artist. He has been banned from the Costco parking lot and get cited for trespassing if anyone sees him there. If anyone is approached by this individual please contact the Loudon County Sheriff’s office immediately.
