Missionary Day Program, Mount Zion UMC Leesburg Men’s Weekend, Concert and Art Show, LDAA Fall Dance

Missionary Day Program: Mount Olive Baptist Church, Lincoln, VA will be having a Missionary Day program sponsored by the Missionary Society on Sunday, Nov. 1. The program will begin at 3 pm. Dinner will be served from 1 to 2:30 pm. The Rev. Philip Lewis, Pastor of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church in Upperville, accompanied by his choir and congregation will deliver the word. All are welcome!
Mount Zion UMC Leesburg Men’s Weekend: Mount Zion United Methodist Church in Leesburg will celebrate their men’s weekend starting with a concert on Friday, Nov. 6 at 7 pm. On Saturday, Nov. 7, they will hold a Harvest Home Auction of baked goods and handmade crafts at 6:30 pm. The Men’s Day service will be held Sunday, Nov. 8, starting with breakfast at 8:30 am and church services at 11 am. All activities will take place at the church located at 12 North Street in Leesburg.
Concert and Art Show: Saturday, Nov. 7 from 4 to 6 p.m., Mount Zion United Methodist Church in Hamilton will sponsor a special Concert and Art Show, featuring Gospel Choir Heavenly, directed by Dion Jergo performing wonderful, uplifting gospel songs in glorious harmony and Nashville singer-songwriter-visual artist Joni Bishop with special guest Lisa Taylor on percussion performing original songs and traditional spirituals on guitar & mountain dulcimer. Joni's art portraits of American jazz, blues and gospel legends will also be on display at the concert! The event will be held at the church, located at 250 W. Virginia Ave in Hamilton. The Rev. Reginald A. Early is the pastor. Free will donation.
LDAA Fall Dance: The Loudoun Douglass Alumni Association (LDAA) is having a Fall Dance on Saturday, Nov. 14, at the Hamilton Safety Center. Tickets are $20. See any LDAA board member for tickets or call Mary Randolph at 703-777-8270. Music by Larry Robinson, B-Funk.
