Former Sterling supervisor dead at 64

Andrew Bird, a member of Loudoun's Board of Supervisors representing Sterling from 1983-87, died on Oct. 29. He was 64.

A service was held Nov. 6, at 10 a.m., at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 651 Dranesville Rd., Herndon. Rev. Charlie Grant, a former supervisor and a chaplain at Dulles Washington International Airport, spoke at the service.
