Ring Round the Moon, final game, The Big One and more

The Freedom Players present Ring Round the Moon this weekend Nov. 5, 6, and 7. Showtime is 7:30 p.m. at Freedom High School. This hilarious comedy is about twin brothers who are caught up in a lover’s mess. One brother is desperately avoiding the shackles of marriage, while the other is evaded by the love he desires. Come see how this love quandary unfolds. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $7.00. The Freedom Eagles Varsity football team plays their final game Friday night at Park View High School in Sterling. Show your support and cheer on the team. Game time is 7:30 p.m. For those students planning to try out for winter sports, all athletic forms are due to the Athletic Director by Friday, Nov. 6 to be eligible to participate. The Freedom High School All Night Graduation Celebration committee is holding its annual The Big One this Saturday, Nov. 7 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will host a business and craft expo, a rummage sale, kid’s activities and a food court. Proceeds from this event support the class of 2010’s alcohol and drug free after graduation celebration. Please consider supporting this event and help this year’s celebration to be better than ever

 

The long awaited official groundbreaking of the Gum Spring library will take place this Saturday, Nov. 7 at 10 a.m. Immediately following the ceremony, a reception will be held at the Stone Ridge Community Center along with prize giveaways, a moon bounce, face painting and many other fun activities. Plan to attend and thank Karen Montgomery and her FROGS committee for their dedication and efforts to make the much needed and overdue library a reality!
