Two men try to rob pizza man in Sterling
A pizza deliveryman said he was robbed at gunpoint by two men Nov. 3 in Sterling.At about 8:30 p.m., the deliveryman had just returned to his vehicle after taking a pizza to a home in the 21880 block of Railway Terrace when two men he didn't know approached him.
One of the robbers pulled a gun and demanded cash. The victim struggled with him, then both robbers fled the scene without taking any money, Loudoun County Sheriff's Office spokesman Kraig Troxell said.
The robber with the gun is described as a 6-foot tall white man who weighed about 180 pounds. He was wearing a blue jean jacket, a white hooded sweatshirt and a white scarf over his nose and mouth, Troxell said.
The other robber is described as a white man who was wearing all dark clothing. No one matching these descriptions was found in the area, Troxell said.
