Varsity football ratings

Five Loudoun teams – Broad Run, Stone Bridge, Loudoun County, Park View and Dominion -- would be in the playoffs if the second season started today, according to the latest VHSL football ratings released Nov. 2.

Each district champion qualifies for the playoffs, while the VHSL ratings determine the remainder of the postseason field. 

Six teams from each division of Region II and the Northwest Region make the playoffs, while the top eight Northern Region teams qualify.

Here's a look at the top eight in each region that features a Loudoun school.
