“Sweats for Vets” at Hamilton
Hamilton Elementary is participating in the “Sweats for Vets” program, sponsored by the Town of Purcellville, and is collecting new sweat suits (sweat shirt and sweat pants) in sizes M, L, and XL.
To participate, collect new sweatshirts and sweat pants and pair them in a set e.g. one sweatshirt and one pair of sweat pants of the same size.
Then roll and pair the set together with string, rubber bands or ribbon. Label the set according to size.
Bring or send the sweat sets to Hamilton Elementary by Nov. 6. Your student may write a note to bundle inside the sweats.
After Veterans Day, the Town of Purcellville will coordinate with local veterans' organizations to have them delivered to the regional Veterans hospitals.
