Video tour of Tuscarora and Woodgrove
Yesterday, Oct. 7., I got the chance to visit the construction sites for the two new high schools being built in Loudoun County -- Tuscarora in Leesburg and Woodgrove in Purcellville.
Jeff Platenberg, assistant superintendent for support services for Loudoun County Public Schools, met me and videographer Raymond Thompson and showed us around each site. Despite the funny looking (I'm sure it looked funny on me!) hard hat and orange construction vest, it was cool to get to see a sneak peak of what the two schools will look like when they are completed. They are mirror images of each other, both built on a smiliar prototype as some of the newer high schools like Freedom and Briar Woods.
You can check out our video interview / tour and see the new schools underway TOMORROW Oct. 9 as the newest edition of LTM Live is posted here on our Web site, www.loudountimes.com. THANKS! - Liz
