18th annual DAAR charity auction and dinner
The 18th annual DAAR charity auction and dinner will be Friday, Nov. 6. at River Creek Country Club to benefit:
- Good Shepherd Alliance
- Loudoun Abused Women’s Shelter
- Loudoun Cares
- Loudoun Families for Children
- Rebuilding Together/Christmas in April
- VoA Emergency Homeless Shelter
- VoA Transitional Housing Shelter
Tickets bought by tomorrow are $65/person and provide:
- Two cocktails
- Steak dinner (vegetarian entrees available with prior arrangement)
- Wine with dinner
- Dessert and coffee
- Great deals on silent and live auction items
The price increases to $75/person after Oct. 30 and no walk-ins will be allowed.
Each year DAAR sponsors a charity event and donates the entire proceeds to the Good Shepherd Alliance (GSA) and other local non-profits that provide significant services to our homeless and indigent population. Without the good folks like DAAR, non-profits would be hard pressed to make ends meet.
The GSA was established in the basement of a Sterling Pastors house in 1983. Since its inception GSA has registered over 4,000 people in our shelters. DAAR was always there for the GSA long before helping homelessness was cool.
Please donate or attend the 18th Annual DAAR Charity Auction and Dinner on November 6 at River Creek County Club.
